Launching Fall 2026: our first-ever Boys select pathway after eight years building a proven boys program. Optional free spring clinics let you feel the level, meet the coaches, and in some cases be placed without a separate tryout. College, international, and semi-pro opportunities are part of the pathway.

Boys Select Academy NEW • First Boys Pathway

After 8 years building a proven boys pathway, Round Rock SC launches its first-ever Boys Select Academy in Fall 2026. Train in a high-performance environment with licensed coaches, clarified principles of play, and individualized development plans.

Teams form within age bands (U11–U19) and will compete in appropriately matched leagues (announced later). Free boys clinics (dates coming soon) help families assess fit and level ahead of Fall 2026.

FAQ

Are clinics tryouts?
Clinics are not formal tryouts. They are free sessions to experience our coaches, environment, and level. Coaches may use clinic play to assess ability and, in some cases, offer a spot in Select without a separate tryout. Attendance is optional but recommended.
How many trainings and games?
Two trainings per week on weekday evenings (exact days/times TBA). League matches are most weekends in-season, with select tournaments as appropriate for each team.
Costs, payment plans & discounts
Final tuition is shared in the offer & late-fall follow-up. We provide monthly payment plans and sibling discounts. Need-based financial aid is available. A deposit may be required to secure a roster spot.
Uniforms
SOCCER.COM is our official uniform partner. Ordering details are emailed after registration. Girls uniform may differ from examples; final kit photos will be revealed this fall.
Where do we train & play? How much travel?
Trainings use local sites (see Locations). Most league games are in Central Texas; some events may include additional travel.
Who is eligible?
Boys ages U11–U19 for the Fall 2026 season. Teams are organized by birth year and playing level.
What commitment is expected?
Consistent attendance at trainings and matches is expected. Please communicate conflicts early via PlayMetrics so coaches can plan.
How do coaches communicate?
We use PlayMetrics for schedules, messages, and updates. Make sure notifications are enabled and your profile information is current.
Weather cancellations
Weather decisions are posted to PlayMetrics and our Field Status page when applicable.
If I can’t attend clinics, can I still be assessed?
Yes. We can arrange a separate assessment or evaluate during a scheduled training session once teams form.
Do you offer goalkeeper or position-specific training?
Position-specific development, including goalkeeper work, is planned within team schedules or through supplemental sessions.
