PLACEMENT

Round Rock SC’s Player Placement Program connects talented athletes with professional and semi-professional clubs across the U.S. and internationally through our vast network of coaches, teams, and scouts. We promote qualified players by sharing their CVs and highlight reels, working directly with clubs to secure trials and seasonal placements.

SENDING PLAYERS INTERNATIONALLY SINCE 2012
International Programs

Since 2012, Round Rock SC has helped players elevate their game on the international stage — offering opportunities to train, compete, and grow in professional soccer environments abroad.

Although Round Rock SC officially launched in 2017, our international efforts began earlier through a separate organization led by club owner Edgar Palacios. With experience as a professional player in Sweden and a strong network of international coaches, clubs, and scouts, Edgar continues to lead our global placement efforts, connecting aspiring athletes to life-changing opportunities overseas.

HOW ITS ALL POSSIBLE AND WHAT YOU CAN TRUST

Edgar Palacios is the founder and program director of Round Rock SC’s International Program. With over a decade of experience guiding players to opportunities abroad, Edgar brings unmatched insight, mentorship, and global connections to every athlete he works with.

A former professional player in Sweden, Edgar competed with clubs  across the Swedish football system — gaining first-hand experience in international training environments, player development systems, and the demands of playing overseas. His passion for global football inspired the creation of Round Rock SC’s international pathway, which has helped dozens of players compete, train, and live abroad since 2012.

Today, Edgar leads the program with a hands-on approach: personally guiding player selections, communicating with coaches overseas, and ensuring that each participant receives the support they need both on and off the field.
